The musical epic Kien Tanh Thanh Phat is a production based on the work of the same name written by Zen venerable Thich Thanh Tu. This is a wonderful piece of Buddhist artwork, which is presented by People’s Artist – PHD Bach Tuyet (a lay-Buddhist Dieu Loc). Sen Hong Group would like to introduce you this magnificent DVD.
The Dharmas in the musical epic were sung by People’s Artist Bach Tuyet’s beautiful and heartfelt voice. Her singing was filled with the breaths of the Earth and sky, trees, mountains and rivers of the country which sketched fine images. People’s Artist Bach Tuyet tells us stories of the Buddhas. She transforms into a nun, an elderly woman, and a girl representing Buddha, Dharmas, and Sangha. Buddhist philosophy was conveyed through carefully selected traditional melodies. Listeners sense the friendliness and warmth while still being aware of birth and death, impermanence, and a limited lifetime. The music moves us, makes us regret the wrongs we did in the past and repent old deeds as we constantly face impermanence.
Kien Tanh Thanh Phat reminds us not to wait until it is too late! Let’s step up to show benevolence, to live with gratefulness, and appreciate every single minute, everyone and every being. We adore the messages, which reveal the purity, great compassion, wisdom and aspiration of the Buddha, in such a way that they are gradually absorbed in our thoughts, words, and actions. They awake good personality traits and Buddhahood in each Buddhist follower. 
The Kien Tanh Thanh Phat DVD is the fifth Buddhist musical epic. It was carried out by People’s Artist Bach Tuyet and the Sen Hong group with a desire to bring practical benefits to Buddhist lay-people. Together, let’s have a strong belief for ourselves and for everyone, develop a self-practice and yearn to follow the Buddha’s teachings to attain good fortunes, wellness, and happiness for ourselves, our relatives, and community … right in this very life! Let’s actively contribute to a better life for today and tomorrow.
